Another #1 seed and hopefully this time I will live up to the prediction point standings!
The dreaded #1 seed in a tournament, yes it is nice to get a bi in the first round but I have never won when I have been seated at the top. I have been hitting very well lately and feel I have to correct tension for my strings the last time they were strung so we will see!
My hope this weekend is to finish 1st and to break the mental stigma when I am seated at the top. I will be playing in the Richardson Tennis Tournament, Men’s 3.5. If I am going to have enough points to make it to the top eight in Texas by the end of the year this needs to be my start this summer. There is one other bit of great news. My son has wanted to start hitting more and is now getting more confident with 2 forehands. I am going to try and video him hitting so those skeptics out there can see how easy it is and the advantage for even an eight year old can use.
